Waterproof Leather Upper

Constructed from a waterproof full-grain leather upper, the Newport Leather Walking Sandals are highly durable, breathable and waterproof. The leather materials protect feet from becoming soggy and wet in changing weather or changing terrains, keeping them dry and cosy no matter the conditions. The durable materials provide a great deal of protection for feet to thrive and remain shielded against the knocks and bumps of the trails. The Newport Leather Sandals are highly breathable to prevent overheating, and cutouts ensure a constant supply of airflow, whilst a quick-dry lining has moisture-wicking properties preventing the build-up of sweat and moisture in warmer conditions. A quick-cinch bungee lacing system allows you to get the preferred fit and feel, reduces in-shoe slipping and ensures an easy on-and-off construction. Finally, the sandals have Keen’s iconic toe protection system, in the form of a rugged rubber bumper, which keeps toes happy and protected from craggy trails to rocky riverbeds. The upper is Better Leather certified, meaning fewer chemicals have been used to help preserve and protect our waters.

EVA Midsole

The EVA midsole provides excellent cushioning, allowing you to walk longer distances comfortably. Holding excellent cushioning abilities, the midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risks of potential injury. Integrated arch support provides all-day-long comfort and ensures long-lasting stability. The sandals utilise an Eco Anti-Odour treatment, a natural, pesticide-free odour control which reduces unwanted smells and helps feet feel fresher for longer.

Non Marking Rubber Outsole

A non-marking rubber outsole provides an abundance of grip and traction on a variety of surfaces to help give you a stable platform and minimises the risk of potential injuries and strain. The outsole will not cause damage or leave marks on indoor surfaces meaning you can wear the sandal around the house though its primary use is for outdoor purposes. Finally, a multi-directional lug pattern adorns the outsole for extraordinary grip and traction across changing terrains, especially wet surfaces.
