ASICS Fuji Speed Trail Running Shoes
Comfortable, durable and fast, the Fuji Speed shoe is functional for longer distances on the trails.
Nexkin Upper
The uppers of the Fuji Speed Running Shoes have been designed with a lightweight Nexkin material to increase durability against abrasions from rocks and roots. The upper is long-lasting and reliable for an exceptional level of comfort. The uppers are therefore made from hardcore mesh which offers you protection but with improved drainage, meaning your shoes will drain the water out as quickly as they get wet in the first place. Alongside this, the shoes have an asymmetrical lacing system, which reduces pressure across the top of your foot, whilst also creating a supportive fit for your foot to remain comfortable. A lace garage also helps to keep the laces from coming undone, meaning a secure, locked-in fit is ensured throughout the duration of your run.
FlyteFoam Midsole
Supplying your foot with lightweight underfoot cushioning, the midsole utilises FlyteFoam which provides impact absorption. Fitted with FlyteFoam midsole technology, the shoes add a real spring to your step and make for a more responsive shoe. FlyteFoam is made up of organic super fibres, so you won’t see the packing out that so often happens with softer, lower-density foams. Alongside this, there is a Pebax propulsion plate that also helps to redirect your energy forward whilst simultaneously creating a faster feel underfoot. Working alongside this is ASICS’ Guidesole technology, which helps you to reserve energy by reducing flexion through the ankle.
ASICSGRIP Outsole
ASICS proprietary outsole rubber provides high grip on various terrain, without compromising durability. The ASICSGRIP outsole offers improved grip on a range of surfaces both wet and dry for fast confident footing. The lugged outsole pattern features ASICSGRIP rubber while incorporating a lug pattern on the bottom of the shoe to improve traction on slippery terrain.
